Colton got a remote control Bigfoot for his birthday and Mason thinks is is the best thing ever. He laughs everytime Bigfoots talks, lays down, backs up, throws a temper tantrum or does a flip - it is quite entertaining!!

Happy 5th Birthday Colton
Five years ago today we welcomed the most amazing boy into our lives at 5:08am. I still can't believe he is 5 years old already, it seems like just yesterday we were calling everyone to tell that he had arrived (4 weeks early)! We celebrated Colton's 5th Birthday on Sunday with our family and friends. It was a perfect day filled with friends, grilling, presents, cake, a pinata and a watergun fight (thank you Uncle Freddie)! Colton was once again very spoiled by the number of presents he received, he has a hard time deciding which ones he should play with first!! We took over 200 pictures at his party... here are just a few of my favorites!

My Little Graduate
Colton is officially done with Preschool. He had his preschool graduation last night. He was so proud to wear his graduation cap and get his diploma. I was a very proud Mama and at the same time it was so hard to watch becuase that means he starts Elementary School in just a few short months and really isn't my little baby anymore. He is such an amazing kid - so outgoing, very smart and more fun than I could have ever imagined. Congratulations Colton - you make your Dad and I very proud.

Bedtime Stories with Daddy
Both the boys were enjoying reading books with Daddy tonight! By the third book Mason was fast asleep and Colton was asking to be tucked in, not sure how we got so lucky with these boys and their bedtime routines but I am not going to complain!
What a Weekend!
The weather was perfect this last weekend and we did our best to enjoy it! Friday night Frankie and I enjoyed a kid free evening out with adults... that rarely happens. We went to Toby's Keith's Bar and enjoyed dinner and some drinks on the Patio to celebrate Frankie turning the big 3-0! Saturday we just hung around the house, playing in the pool, riding bikes, having a water gun fight and enjoying a bon fire where June bugs continually flew through the fire to their death which Colton thought was quite entertaining (they really are dumb insects)! We spent Sunday morning at Urgent care with Mason - he was so congested he could hardly breathe which made Saturday night quite a long night but the doctor said it was just a viral infection and needs to run its course so we didn't let it interfere with our Sunday plans. We spent 5 hours at the MN Zoo with Grandma Yvonne, Uncle Freddie, Auntie Melissa and cousins Jaxx and Isaac. We spent the first part seeing the animals and enjoying lunch and then it was time for the splash pad! It was so much fun to watch the kids running and playing together. It was a great weekend full of time with my kids... what more could I ask for?!?!

Big Boy Brother Bath!!
I have been waiting for this day for 5 years!! Ever since Colton was born I couldn't wait to have a second child so they could take baths together.... baths are so much fun with someone else to splash with! Well so they are a little far apart in age and Colton won't want his brother in his bath for long but tonight he thought it was pretty cool! I found this awesome bath seat at a garage sale in almost brand new condition for $5 - best purchase ever! Mason is way to small to be sitting in the tub alone but is getting way too big for his baby bath, he is barely even in the water in that thing so this seat works perfect! Mason sat in the bath with Colton for almost 20 minutes just kicking his feet, talking and letting his little butt soak!!
