Colton - 10 Years Old
Colton is developing into quite the little man. He is in the 4th Grade. He does great in school although he says doesn't like reading much but he is a Math genius which is exactly how I was in school. And from what I have noticed over the last year is that he is quite popular too as he is always being invited to birthday parties and play dates. I am happy that he is such a little social butterfly and makes friends so easily. He is a very polite and sentimental boy and he wears his heart on his sleeve all the time. If he thinks for even a minute that he hurt someone else he will burst into years. Sometimes I think maybe we raised him to be too much of a baby but I guess that is probably better than him being a bully and having no respect for others. He is getting into sports more and more which is awesome. He is our triple threat athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball! Being a huge football fan myself I couldn't be more proud when he started attending Gopher games with me and was asking what was going on, what the rules were and cheering when there was a good play! He also really enjoys to Gopher Hockey games! He is going to be my little sports buddy for sure. Colton above all is a fabulous big brother. He is always concerned about his little brother and protects him more than we could have ever hoped for, we look forward to watching their relationship develop and grow throughout the years!
Mason - 5 Years Old
Mason is my little spit fire. He is a very independent, strong willed, active little boy! He keeps me on my toes at all times. He is developing and changing so much every day and it is so much fun to watch him grow. I fear he is really going to give me a run for our money with my parenting skills. He likes to push the limits as much as possible and I am pretty sure he feels that he is in charge most days. Mason goes to daycare half the day and then goes to Pre-K as the Elementary in the afternoon. He loves school which is great. He is a little genius too, already learning to read which makes me very proud! Mason loves to do whatever his big brother does but being as he is 4.5 years behind his brother that is not always safe. Mason is causing me more gray hair than I care to admit but he is totally worth it. He is an affectionate boy and is completely a mama's boy. He loves to snuggle up with me and sing our son, Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker, those are the moments that make all the trying times throughout the day wash away.
