Frankie, Yvonne and my Dad went fishing again today and this time they caught several Sand Sharks and even a Sea Turtle. Of course this was the one day that I didn't go over to the beach with them so I didn't get any pictures of them fishing but I did take some when they got back home. We had shark for dinner tonight and it was quite delicious!!
Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes their way.

Fishing, Fishing, Lunch and then more Fishing!!
We have spent the last couple days fishing (and of course when we got too warm we would take a quick dip in the ocean)! Colton has become quite the fisherman - he is way more patient than I am, if a fish isn't on my hook in about 2 minutes I give up! Yesterday I sat on the beach and watched them fish for about 3 hours and they caught everything possible... Whiting, Catfish, Blue Crab and Sting Ray! Colton would sit and watch his pole and soon as it started moving he would yell "My Pole is Dancing, My Pole is Dancing" and someone would come help him reel in his fish! My dad and Frankie have also done a couple deep sea fishing charters and have come home with some delicious fish including Ruby Lips, Trigger Fish, B-Liners, and Line Fish. Like I said this vacation has involved a lot of fishing and several fresh fish dinners - YUM!!

Pirates, Sand Castles, and Boogie Boards... Oh My!
We woke up Thursday morning to a pirate invasion in our beach house! After getting the boys back to themselves we headed to the beach for a day filled with Sand Castles and Boogie Boarding! Colton is getting quite good at boogie boarding and I must say I am starting to get the hang of it too! I spent about an hour riding the waves that afternoon and my arms paid the price... I am so sore but it was totally worth it! After group bath time for the boys (even Mason joined the boys in the giant tub) it was jammies and to bed, this fresh air really wears them out! Another great day on the beach, I wish I could stay on the island forever.
Another awesome day!
We took our first ferry ride yesterday! The ferry leaves Dauphin Island and goes across Mobile Bay to Gulf Shores. After the half hour ferry ride we headed into Gulf Shores to eat lunch at Lambert's Cafe, home of the throwed rolls! This place was a lot of fun, they serisously threw you hot rolls when you needed one! Afterwards we headed to the Outlet Mall to do a little shopping - mostly in the Coach Store. Last night Frankie, Colton and my dad did a little fishing out back of our house but they didn't catch anything (we did get to enjoy a beautiful sunset at least). We are having a great time on our trip so far and hoping the weather keeps up the next week as well! I am hoping to take the ferry back over to Gulf Shores so we can tour Fort Morgan.

We are back in Paradise!
We have made it back to Dauphin Island, Alamaba! This is our third year vacationing on the island and every year it gets better! This is the first time we have came in March and I love it... the weather is much warmer, we have been in the 80's everyday so far! Our house is also on bay side this year instead of gulf side which means the water is calmer and the kids can actually go some swimming! We are here with my mother-in-law, my parents and Frankie's Brother and his family. We are having a blast so far and we still have 9 days to go.... bring on the sun and good times! I tried to upload pictures but the internet is so slow so here's a few of my ocean bum and I will upload the rest when we get back home (or sooner if the internet every decides to speed up)!!

A Bowling Birthday Party
Last Sunday was my nephew's 4th birthday and we had a blast at his bowling birthday party! The boys enjoyed a little competive game of bowling (check out their final scores below), then pizza, cake and presents. It is so awesome to see the boys playing and growing together - they are ages 4, 4 and 2 1/2. Mason is a little behind but this time next year he will be running around with them too (well trying to keep up with them)! Anyways here are a few pics from our fun filled day - Happy 4th Birthday Issac!
