We braved the fair last Thursday and despite it being in the 90's with high humidity we spent 8 hours enjoying the Great Minnesota Get Together! We left Mason as home with Grandma and my dad and my two youngest cousins joined us for the fun. We saw the animals, enjoyed some rides, experienced the butterfly house, watched some horse roping, played some games in the Midway and of course tested all kinds of food. We ate Cheese Curds, Giant Pickles, French Friess, Pronto Pups, Sno Cones, Battered Australian Potatoes, Giant Turkey Legs, Alligator on a Stick, Sweet Martha's Cookies and drank a few beers!! I love the State Fair and can't wait to go again next year.
