Frosty!

This past weekend we finally had some warm temperatures and melting snow and the boys made sure we wasted none of it!  As soon as I was done working on Friday we put on our snow gear and outside we went.   My boys are true Minnesota boys, they love being out playing in the snow.  We had a snowball fight and of course built our very own Frosty!  Mason is obsessed with our Frosty, we have to check several times a day to be sure he is still in the front yard and every time we leave the drive he waves goodbye to Frosty.  Gotta love that kid!  Too bad the winter heatwave didn't last long and we are now back to the subzero temperatures, oh well we made the most of the warm up while it lasted!

Meet Frosty, with his Broccoli eyes, carrot nose and a mouth made out of tomatoes!

After about an hour and half of playing out in the snow we headed back inside so I could get dinner started.  The boys went to the family room to watch some cartoons and within minutes Mason had passed out on the couch!  This kid can fall asleep anywhere when he is tired enough, he didn't even have one of his silk edge blankets which is usually a must when he goes to sleep!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning is probably my favorite part of the entire holiday season.  Listening to the footsteps of Colton getting out of bed and then going into his brothers room to wake him up so they can check to see if Santa brought them presents.  Before you know both boys are coming down the stairs and the magic and excitement begins.  It is chaos but oh so much fun to watch them get more and more excited with every present they open.  Kids really do make the season so magical!

Santa spoiled the boys this year and now I need to have my dad build us addition just to store all these new toys!  After opening presents and enjoying some fresh out of the oven Monkey Bread we got cleaned up and ready for my family to come over for our Christmas Celebration.  Frankie make us an amazing ham dinner and then it was time for more presents!  Seriously, the boys are so spoiled and Frankie and I can't complain either as were very spoiled by our parents this year again.

After a long day of opening presents and eating were all exhausted.  Mason was getting crabby around 6:30 and wanted to watch cartoons so he crawled up into our bed and we turned on his favorite show, Little Einsteins!  It didn't take long and he was out cold.  Another wonderful Christmas celebration complete.  We are so blessed to have the amazing families that we do and that we were able to spend so much time with them again this Holiday season.  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Frankie's family. We started out with going to church, the kids love the church service on Christmas Eve as their are crafts prior to the service and then they all get to go up to the front of church during the service and sit and listen to the Christmas Story.  After church we headed to my mother in laws house for dinner and presents.  The boys got some pretty awesome presents and Frankie and I got some gift cards so we can spoil ourselves as well.  My mother in law knows that if she gives me a gift card to Target I will end up using it on things for the boys or house so she got me a Victoria Secret card.... can't spend that on the boys!  She is one smart woman. Here are some pictures from our Christmas Eve celebration.

I really hope Mason stops making that face soon when he says CHEESE!  It isn't a smile, no matter how much he thinks it is!

Annual Cookie Bake

Every year we get together at my Mother-in-laws for a day of cookie baking with her and Frankie's brother and his family!  It is so much fun to watch the 5 Berberena boys run around and play together and of course help with cookies.  It is usually complete chaos but that is what makes the memories even better.  When you give 5 boys cookie cutters and sprinkles you just never know what will happen.  We ended up with way more sweets than any of us will ever be able to eat but I am sure we will give it our best effort. I love this tradition and I hope it continues for many years to come!

 COUSIN LOVE!
