We went to the fair on opening day this year - the place was crowded, the food was fabulous and the weather was perfect! We spent most of our time eating, going on rides, playing games and even tried to squeeze in a little time with the animals!! Colton had a blast on the rides and playing games in the midway and he won more stuff animals than he knows what to do with - he hardly fits in his bed anymore with all of his "kids" in there. We also went on the Space Tower again this year - Colton loved every minute of it, he has no fear of heights like his momma I guess. After about 7 hours at the fair we called it a day and headed home where we lounged on the couch because we had no energy left to do anything else!! Frankie is trying to talk me into going to the fair one more time this year but it is just so spendy I don't think we will be making another trip (but you just never know when I might get the craving for Alligator on a Stick and Sweet Martha's Cookies)!!
Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes their way.

What a weekend!
We had another busy weekend! Saturday we went to Bunker Hill Regional Park for a family reunion. It was a hot day but we still had a blast hanging with family. Colton really enjoyed the games more than anything - he entered the wheel barrow races with Auntie Marissa, the Egg Toss with Grandma Lori and of course participated in the tug of war with his cousins! He even got a gold medal for winning the tug of war, he is very proud of this plastic piece of gold!! Saturday night we watched my friends little girl overnight. It was so much fun to have a toddler in the house again and Colton played so good with her - although he did get annoyed when she kepting pulling all the DVD's off the shelf and throwing them all around the living room. Sunday I went to a bridal shower for one of my girl friends. It was great to spend the afternoon with friends, I haven't see them in forever (being sick most of June and July didn't help)! Lisa I can't wait for your wedding, it is gonna be here before we know it!! Then tonight I had a Dr appointment and Frankie and Colton both came with me to hear the heartbeat! The baby was very active tonight and Dr was having a hard time keeping track of him/her but eventually the baby took a little break from his/her aerobis and we were able to hear the heartbeat! The baby had a heart rate of 140 tonight. I have also been starting to feel the baby move around already, I felt the first movements last Wednesday at 16 weeks 4 days and then of course didn't feel anything until today! I felt the baby moving around quite a bit tonight - it is the most amazing feeling ever!!

Washington County Fair
Colton and I went to the Washington County Fair this morning with Uncle Brad, Auntie Marissa and Pop Pop! It was way too hot to be going anywhere but I had already promised Colton we would go see Pig Races so away we went. We got to the fair at about 10:30 (it was already about 80 degrees at this time). We started by walking through the exhibit buildings where Colton built a bird house at the Home Depot Kids Workshop and then it was off to the animal barns! Colton loves petting all the farm animals. Then after some Hawaiian Shaved Ice it was time for a Camel Ride, Colton thought he was a big shot riding it all by himself. Then we headed over the Llama Competitions (my favorite)! If you have never seen a Llama jump through a Hula Hoop you need to check it out, interesting to say the least! Next was on to lunch - Pronto Pups and Cheese Burgers and then we went to get our seats for the pig races. It was now 12:30 and well into the 90's and so humid we were all dripping. The pig races were totally worth the heat but once they were over we decided we had had enough of this heatwave and headed back home where Colton and I both took nice long naps in the comfort of our air conditioning!!
Also just had to post a few pictures from our garden which is doing awesome again this year. The first picture is of everything we picked on Thursday night! And when I went out there today just to check and see if anything else was ready I was shocked! The second picture shows what I came back in the house with this afternoon!! Looks like Frankie will be making a nice big batch of Salsa this week! We also have several Cantelop growing and two Summer Squash which seem to coming along quite nicely. Gotta love summer and growing your own veggies!

Oh Loon Lake - how we have missed you!!
Colton and I went to the lake with my sister and my dad this past weekend. We have not been there since Memorial weekend because I was so sick most of June and July. It was so nice to just relax for an entire weekend. Colton spent most of his time in the water, I swear he is gonna turn into a fish one of these days! I spent most of my time relaxing on the swing watching him swim and the rest of my time snacking on cheese and crackers!! It was a seriously laid back weekend, which was exactly what I have been needing lately!
I am starting to feel much better these days as you probably guessed! I still have some nausea later in the evening but I usually just go to bed and by morning it is gone. Now if I could just get some energy back and stop peeing every hour I would be good to go!! I forgot how much being pregnant wears on your body - oh well it will all be worth it in 5 1/2 months!
