Winter Fun!

The weather is finally nice again... into the 30's two days in a row!! So this morning we decided to head outside and enjoy winter a little bit. We played out in the yard for about an hour... throwing snowballs and going for snowmobile rides. And then we decided to head over to the park and do some skating. Colton got skates for Christmas but it has been so cold this last month that we hadn't gotten him out on the ice yet. Well today we did. He was very unsure at first but after about 20 minutes he was able to get around all on his own. He is still trying to walk on the ice instead of skate but hopefully after a few times out there he will really start to get it! We are gonna try to go back over to the park again this afternoon after nap time. It is hard to stay indoors when the weather is finally nice. Here are some pics and a couple videos, Enjoy!

  1. Oh my goodness...the ice skating is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Looks like you had a fun day!!! I wish I could spend more time outside! I have no idea what I'd do though.

  2. Just wait when you have that little one you will never be bored again! There are always new things to do with them. Colton had so much fun skating and we were hoping to go again this afternoon but he is still napping (it has been over 3 hours already, fresh air also really makes little kids tired).
