Memorial Weekend

The boys and I spent Memorial Weekend at the lake with Grandma Yvonne and my brother!  We had a great weekend despite the rain and storms!  I will let the pictures do the talking for this post....
Colton spent many hours collecting these little guys - he had two buckets full of Army Worms by the time he was done!  He thought they were cool.  I was completely disgusted with them, it was a full invasion of these things - they were on EVERYTHING!!
Colton learn to finally ride his bike without a training wheel..... all last summer he rode with just one training wheel but finally he is riding like a big boy!  I took it off while he was playing at the park and when came back he just hopped on and started riding without even noticing it was gone!
Colton and Sashe cuddled up watching a movie while it was raining outside!
We woke up Saturday morning to the campground pretty much under water.  We were considering building an ark as we knew more rain/storms were expected!

Mason loved all the water puddles... and being as we really couldn't find much dry land I had no choice but to let him play in the puddles!

Mason and Mommy enjoying a smore.... he still doesn't know what to think about marshmallows!

 Mason and Uncle Brad.
Finally we decided to take a dip in the water, which was freezing!  Mason and I stayed on the beach will Colton and his buddy dove right in!
Colton was teasing Uncle Brad cause he said it was too cold to jump in.  Colton showed him how TOUGH he was to be in the water so Brad had no choice, he dove in as well!

 Mason enjoying some beach time!

Going for a nice little walk along the water!
Time to build a sand castle!
Mason was covered in sand - we went from the beach straight to the showers!
Mommy and Colton enjoying a snack!  He is all about his fruit... he wanted strawberries over smores (not sure whose kid he is)!!

Naptime for Mason - playing at the beach is very tiring!
Colton playing outside with Uncle Brad!

We arrived back home in the afternoon on Memorial Day and decided we hadn't had enough time outdoors.... time for my boys to make a few laps around the yard!  Mason LOVES riding with his big brother and if the battery lasted longer I am sure they would ride for hours!
