I have had very few weekends this summer that weren't completely booked but the last weekend in July was open and my aunt and uncle invited us to come spend the weekend with them at their lake place which I couldn't pass it up. We spent 2 days just relaxing at the lake! Lots of swimming, fishing, a sunset cruise around the lake, a visit with the ice cream man and lots of laughs. My Aunt Mary is my role model in life....she raised two boys, she was a baseball mom, she was a den mother and she loved to do all the outdoor things with her boys. I feel like her and I can totally relate as we have so much in common and if I can be half the mom that she is I will feel like I am doing okay!
