Where is Spring?

What is with this cold weather? We are ready to be outside enjoying Minnesota but lately that is pretty much impossible as it is raining or snowing or way below normal temperates everyday. Come on Mother Nature please let it be Spring already. Tonight the clouds finally broke for a little while and we took full advantage. A long walk and some playtime at the park was just what we needed. And the fresh air seemed to really wear out both the boys as they were both in bed at 8:30! Hopefully the warm weather is right around the corner because we are ready to pack up the jackets and bust out the flip flops!

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter Weekend. Saturday I took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt at Church. Colton had a blast and Mason slept through most of it! Sunday morning we woke up nice and early to search for our Easter Baskets and find all the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid all over our house! We enjoyed lunch, another Easter Egg hunt and an afternoon of games and laughter at my parents house! It was a great weekend with family, Happy Easter!!

Tummy Time

Mason is growing quite fond of tummy time (which is something Colton never enjoyed)!! Well tonight I put him on his tummy and for the first few minutes he was just hanging out, picking up his head and looking around but then decided he could do so much more! He pulled his knees up under his body, put his face into his blanket and started to scoot forward!! Yes you read that right, my 12 week old can scoot!! He doesn't get anywhere fast but the very idea of my baby being mobile makes me sad. He is growing up so quickly. Here is a video of his latest accomplishment!!

Easter Projects

We spent our afternoon working on some Easter Projects. We started by getting the Easter Baskets decorated and ready for the Easter Bunny. Colton is quite proud of his finished project. Then we moved on to dying eggs. At frist we were tie dying the eggs but that was tedious so Colton decided that dipping the eggs right into the cup was much easier!! Mason quickly got bored with the projects and decided that a nap sounded better.

It's Bathtime Little Brother

Colton loves to help with his little brother! Recently he decided he wanted to give Mason a bath so I let him do it and I took pictures instead! Colton wasn't very quick about it but Mason didn't seem to care at all, he was talking and smiling at his big brother the entire time. At the end of the bath I finished up and rinsed Mason off and Colton said it was his turn to take pictures of us (is he his is momma's kid or what?)!! I love my boys. Tomorrow I have to go back to work and I am not sure how I am going to survive but I will do my best!

Check, Check, Check...

So today is my last day in my 20's! When I was younger I used to think 30 was so old and that I won't be having any more fun in my 30's but instead living a boring life and working a dumb job... I know now that will not be true at all - 30 is still young. So anyways, I started to think about what I wanted to do before I was 30.

I wanted to get married - Check!!

I wanted to buy a house - Check!

And fix it up - Check!

I wanted to do some Traveling - Check, Check, Check, Check, Check, Check!

I wanted to attend some sporting events - Check!

I wanted to have kids - Check and Check!

I wanted to be happy and be surrounded by great friends and family - CHECK! Looks like turning 30 won't be so bad afterall and I look forward to what the next 30 years will bring my way!
