Family Hike

We spent almost 3 hours yesterday hiking around Afton State Park. We love this close to home getaway, it is a great place to take in some exercise and lots of nature. Some of the paths were still covered with snow but that didn't slow us down. We spent some time down by the river learning how to skip rocks and watching Sampson take his first dip of the season. We also packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed sandwiches while overlooking the St Croix River and watching some Eagles soaring above. It was a great getaway from reality and some much needed fresh air for all of us!
